What a way to start 2016! Great job, Penguins, on securing another win. The Avalanche put the pressure on however, you battled your way through the game. You kept at the puck and fought through every challenge. Again, we had a solid defence that kept the puck away from our own net for most of the game. For the few times that the puck came toward the net, we had Noah taking control. He really showed his goaltending skills by sweeping the puck away with his stick.
You all did an excellent job at staying on-side. You are paying attention when crossing the blue line. Keep it up!
The player of the game was Jack Poole. Jack worked really hard on both sides of the ice. He challenged for the puck throughout the game and he gained control, sneaking it away from the Avalanche. Congratulations, Jack!
