Excellent team effort today! The Stingers were looking for redemption and they came out strong. You knew it was going to be tough and it was anyone's game. The goals didn't come easy but you were determined to break the tie and take a 2-1 lead. You fought through lots of traffic and you pushed your way along the boards and into the offensive zone. All the players did a great job at keeping the puck in. You proved that all you have to do is shoot and eventually the puck found its way into the net.
Our defence was amazing, again. It is so great to see Daniel, Pavo, Evan and Nolan check every on-coming player and win the challenges You had to chase down the speedy Stingers and you didn't give up until you took the shot out. Your efforts continue to make a huge impact on the outcome of the game.
Nyal was great in goal, again. He was confident and ready for the action. At critical times, he came up with the big save.
