15 seconds!
Ice Dogs solid effort vs the first place team was wasted with 15 seconds left.

For the third time this season, the Ice Dogs lost with less than 40 seconds left to play and solid play by the Ice Dogs leaves them only with the satisfaction of a game well played.  With the Ice Dogs leading 3-2 the game was tied in the final minutes on a play that was clearly off side. Bitter???:)  After taking a border line penalty (at best) in the final minute of the game the Ice Dogs surrendered the losing goal with 15 seconds left to play at which point the clock ran down without another face off.

This seems to be the luck the Ice Dogs have been having.  The Ice Dogs play their positions well and work hard more often than not.  They keep the goals against in par with the league even though they rotate position players through the goalie position.  They definitely deserve better results.

The boys are not giving up though.  They understand the situation and are determined to keep improving.  They all feel they have improved immensely to this point in the season and it's only a matter of time.  90% hard work, 10% luck.  The luck will turn.

The coaching staff and the parents all feel the boys are improving as well.  They are responding well to the offensive drills in practice and are now beginning to score a few goals.  They play as a team and not as individuals.

That's what Ice Dogs do!!
