Looks like the weekend tournament took its toll on the Jets
so we will chalk it down as “crew fatigue.”
With four “D” things piled up fast as the first goal saw our defense getting caught up.
But at 5:07 in the first Ferrari slapped his stick on the ice letting it be known he wanted a pass. And that’s what Blake did allowing Ferrari to smash one in tying it 1-1.
But the jet’s defense sprung a fuel leak. Clearly they lost their oomph. Goal after goal happened with us getting caught off guard.
True, we had some great chances, but the “puck karma” left the building.
Tonight’s game was like some of my landings during my career. Sometimes you wish you could do it over again. But you can’t - and you move on.
Coach Brian gave the boys a “stern” talking to after the game and it’s what they needed.
Let’s hope the boys will get some prone rest and come out revved up for Thursday’s game.
