The Penguins sure gave us a run for our money.
Early in the first Rasquin worked his magic with a lovely goal assisted by Jedryk and Sweet. We were all over the Pesky Penquins in the first, but coasted in the second.
One minute into the third saw a very QUESTIONABLE goal against the Jets.
Then another about two minutes later made us realize our ship was taking on water.
Luckily, Sutton and Ferrari, two skaters who always give it 100%, tied it up at 3:09 left in the nail biting game with Sweet getting his second assist.
As coach Brian said early in the season, “You Jets sure make things interesting.” Sure enough we are running a three-way tie for second. It’s full steam ahead for the rest of the play offs. No hiccups allowed.
