Our 4-4 tie still keeps us in it.
The Jets are still contenders for the finals.

One of the worse nightmares a teammate can have is to score on their own net.

Sadly at 4:19 in the first, a defenseman thinking he was clearing the puck behind our net cleared it INTO our net. But I saw no blaming just the Jets rallying harder to make it up. They knew it could happen to anyone of them.

Another bad dream is to get a penalty while the opposition scores when sitting helplessly in the penalty box. Two ugly “wish that didn’t happen” scenarios saw the Jets down two points.

Along comes Rasquin to the rescue! At 6:52 Rasquin places it in the wide open net nicely assisted by McCoy and Watson. But Rasquin wasn’t finished.  About 25 seconds later on the same shift he ties it up with Morris and Sparling helping out "top gun Rasquin."

The jets ended their nightmarish start, but at 5:56 in the second they succumbed to another goal. Ouch!

But the Jets played hard with Blake waiting to release his slap shot in a calculated timely manner to singlehandedly stuff it in the top shelf. Once again we were back in it!

Things really picked up steam after Blake decided to put another puck in the net assisted by Jedryk and Chesnick.

However, the tide turned once more as the Stars tied it 4-4 with the game ending in great end to end plays.

We are still in the running and after the March break the Jets will be back with vengeance.

Until then, everyone enjoy their March break!
