Pep talk worked as shorthanded Jets finish in victory.
With only two forward lines and three defence the Jets stayed on course.
After battling a two and half hour commute from the airport I arrive just in time for the third period only to be told of the come back and Rasquin was on fire! His line with Nott (one goal and assist) and Morris (two assists) scored three goals in one shift!
I saw Rasquin at 6:24 in the third nail his hat trick assisted by Ribeiro. Both Ribeiro and Rasquin later rattled two shots off the goal posts. It did get a little interesting in the third when the opposition made it 4 to 3.
Coach Brian said he was proud of the Jets especially having played so shorthanded.
Sometimes a stern talk goes a long way and tonight exemplified…it does!
